MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT WHO SIGNED A LETTER TO PRIME MINISTER TRUDEAU FOR A YOUTH CLIMATE CORPS
On May 29 2024, we sent a letter, drafted by MP Laurel Collins and signed by Members of Parliament across Canada, to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
After months of organizing, young climate activists succeeded in getting the Youth Climate Corps added to the 2024 federal budget!
Unfortunately, the budget only mentions consultations on a Youth Climate Corps, rather than a real commitment to fund it. We have been keeping up the pressure to show the government that we will not wait. The time to invest is NOW.
