Climate change is the largest problem our generation will face, yet the Canadian government’s response has yet to feel like a real mobilization. In the midst of an affordability crisis, young people nationwide are struggling to find well-paying, meaningful work that will help them heal and protect their communities while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

We’re joining over a dozen other communities across the country calling for a Youth Climate Corps—a public green jobs program to employ tens of thousands of people between 18-35 that would offer a living wage, union representation, and pathways to further education.
